Full Roof Replacement with New Plywood Installation

At 7393 W 81st St in Los Angeles, we performed a complete roofing overhaul starting July 31, 2025. The home’s original roof had reached the end of its lifespan, showing signs of wear, water damage, and instability in the decking. The scope of this project required a full tear-off down to the decking, where we replaced all sheathing with high-quality OSB plywood for structural integrity.

Once the roof was stripped, we removed any rotted or warped wood before beginning the plywood installation. Our team followed precise framing patterns to ensure ventilation openings were preserved and transitions were properly aligned. This allowed for better load distribution and future shingle adhesion.

By August 2, 2025, we began installing architectural shingles over the completed underlayment and ridge caps. We selected dark gray shingles that offer long-term UV resistance and complement the home’s existing exterior. All ventilation stacks and chimneys were properly flashed and sealed to prevent future leaks.

This project reinforced the structural health of the home while modernizing its appearance with a fresh and professional finish.
